Dermal fillers have been called "liquid facelifts" because they offer many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime. They restore the youthful fullness to your face by softening the creases and wrinkles in the lower face. We offer the full family of Juvederm® dermal fillers.
Juvederm® XC is the original product. Juvederm® can be used in any area that needs plumping or restorative volume, such as lips, cheeks, lines around the mouth, etc. You can expect your results to last about 6-9 months.
Juvederm Voluma® XC is made specifically for the cheeks. As we age, the cheeks tend to flatten or even hollow or sag. Voluma® is a great non-surgical treatment to subtly lift and fill the apple of the cheeks, resulting in youthful contouring. Results typically last 18-24 months.
Juvederm Vollure® was created to better fill deeper lines and wrinkles in the face. While traditional Juvederm® does a great job with filling in mild to moderate lines, we love Vollure® for filling in deep creases, such as the nasolabial folds (parentheses from nose to mouth) and marionette lines (parentheses from mouth to chin). With age comes a reduction of elasticity in the skin, resulting in deep lines which can make you look tired and haggard. You'll love the nearly instant results achieved with Vollure®, and can expect to enjoy them for 18 months or more.
Juvederm Volbella® is made specifically for the lips. We love traditional Juvederm® to achieve a full, plump pout, but if you are looking for smoother lips with a subtle plumping for a lower cost, you may love Volbella®! You'll get longer lasting results (up to 12 months) and a smooth, lovely kisser!
Dermal fillers cannot help with excess sagging skin. However, the volume added to deep creases gives the appearance of tighter skin. These fillers are soft, injectable gels which resemble the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body.
The results of dermal fillers can be seen immediately. Like all injectable treatments, however, it could take up to two weeks for the product to "settle." As with any injection, there can be a small amount of bruising. This can usually be prevented by avoiding blood thinnners, such as ibuprofen, fish oils and alcohol for a few days before your appointment. While there is no "downtime," as there would be with a surgical procedure, it is recommended you avoid strenuous activity, extensive heat or sun exposure and alcohol for 24 hours following your appointment. This will help prevent bruising and other undesired but generally minor side effects.
Juvederm® products may not be suitable if you have a history of severe allergies. You should not receive treatment if you have an allergy to lidocaine, as both products contain a small amount. You should also not receive dermal fillers if you're pregnant or nursing.
